FAQs
Will a corrective peel hurt?
You may feel a mild tingling, warmth, or light stinging during the treatment, but it’s generally well-tolerated. Your therapist will monitor your comfort at all times.
Providing hydration from the inside, bio-remodelling treats crepey skin, loss of elasticity, laxity and skin firmness.
How long is the recovery time?
Most people experience mild redness or flaking for 2–5 days, depending on the strength of the peel. You can usually return to work or normal activities immediately.
How many treatments will I need?
You’ll see improvement after one session, but a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart delivers the best, long-lasting results.
Are corrective peels safe for all skin types?
Yes — our therapists choose the right peel formulation for your skin type and concerns. However, certain conditions (such as pregnancy, active eczema, or open wounds) may mean you’ll need to postpone treatment.
Can I wear makeup after a peel?
It’s best to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to recover. If needed, mineral makeup is a safer option.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
For 5–7 days before treatment, avoid other exfoliating treatments, retinol, or waxing. You should also limit sun exposure.
Will my skin actually peel?
Not always. Some peels cause visible shedding, while others work microscopically beneath the skin’s surface without obvious flaking.
How soon will I see results?
Skin often appears brighter and smoother within a few days, with ongoing improvement as fresh skin cells surface.
